Dan Linebaugh


Attorney Dan Linebaugh is certified as a specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1985. Mr. Linebaugh holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communications from Youngstown State University. While attending law school, Mr. Linebaugh received recognition for excellence in scholarship and placed among the top oralists in both mock trial and moot court competitions. In 2002, Mr. Linebaugh completed advanced course work in trial advocacy sponsored by the National College of Advocacy at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, MA.

In addition to being licensed to practice law before all Texas courts, Mr. Linebaugh is also licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Mr. Linebaugh is a frequent lecturer at seminars for attorneys and other legal programs. In addition to being Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Linebaugh is also Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Linebaugh is an active member of numerous bar associations, including the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Houston Bar Association. From 1998 through 2000, Mr. Linebaugh served as president of the East Harris County Bar Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Linebaugh also serves the State Bar of Texas as vice-chairman of the Pattern Jury Charge Committee for General Negligence and Intentional Personal Torts and serves as chairman for the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Linebaugh's reputation has earned him the privilege of representing clients from throughout Texas and all over the United States. In 2003 and 2004, Texas Monthly Magazine named Mr. Linebaugh as a "Texas Super Lawyer", and in 2007, H Texas Magazine named him one of Houston's "Top Lawyers for the People".

Karen Semanek


Attorney Karen Semanek is certified as a specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Semanek was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1985. She holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

In addition to being admitted to practice law before all Texas courts, Ms. Semanek is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Ms. Semanek is an active member of numerous bar associations, including the American Association for Justice and the Houston Bar Association. From 2002 through 2004, Ms. Semanek served as president of the East Harris County Bar Association and currently serves as a vice president of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Semanek also served from 2000 through 2006 (panel chair 2005-2006) as a member of the State Bar of Texas District 4 Grievance Committee. Ms. Semanek also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Houston Lawyer Referral Service.

Joe Mitchell was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1975. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas A&M University at Kingsville. In addition to being licensed to practice law before all Texas courts, Mr. Mitchell is also licensed to practice before the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Mr. Mitchell is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Katy Bar Association.

In addition to practicing in the state of Texas, Mr. Mitchell has handled catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims in Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wyoming, Nevada, and California.
