After completing law school, Dan Linebaugh worked for one of the most prestigious law firms in Houston defending insurance companies; but that was before he switched sides of the docket and started helping hard-working families. The case that turned him around was a workers' compensation case involving a woman with severe injuries. In a trial at Bryan-College Station, Mr. Linebaugh represented the workers' compensation insurance company and was able to eliminate the insurance company's responsibility. As a result, the injured woman received nothing. While the case was a victory for the insurance company, it was a hollow victory for Mr. Linebaugh; he asked himself, "Is this really what you want to do with yourself? Wouldn't it be better to use your skills to help hard-working families?"
Within the year, Linebaugh moved to Baytown, Texas, and Linebaugh began using his legal skills to serve the people.
As a former insurance adjuster and insurance defense attorney, Linebaugh knows how the insurance company works, and he has learned how to put together a case so that the adjuster will have to take the case seriously.
