Dan Linebaugh
Attorney Dan Linebaugh is certified as a specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1985. Mr. Linebaugh holds a doctor of jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communications from Youngstown State University. While attending law school, Mr. Linebaugh received recognition for excellence in scholarship and placed among the top oralists in both mock trial and moot court competitions. In 2002, Mr. Linebaugh completed advanced course work in trial advocacy sponsored by the National College of Advocacy at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, MA. Mr. Linebaugh is also a graduate of the highly acclaimed, Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, WY, where he studied under the legendary trial attorney Gerry Spence and his select faculty.
In addition to being licensed to practice law before Texas courts, Mr. Linebaugh is also licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Linebaugh is a frequent lecturer at seminars for attorneys and other legal programs. In addition to being Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Linebaugh is also Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Linebaugh is an active member in numerous bar associations, including the American Association for Justice, where he serves on the Board of Governors for the Interstate Truck Litigation Group. Mr. Linebaugh has also served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. Moreover, since 1998, Mr. Linebaugh has served on the State Bar of Texas Pattern Jury Charge Committee for General Negligence and Intentional Torts.
In 2009, Mr. Linebaugh was inducted into the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum as a lifetime member. Mr. Linebaugh's reputation has earned him the privilege of representing clients from throughout the country. Thomson Reuters Service, as appearing in Texas Monthly magazine, has named Mr. Linebaugh a "Texas Super Lawyer" every year since 2003. And H Texas Magazine has named him one of Houston's Top Lawyers for the People every year since 2007. In 2009, Mr. Linebaugh was also featured on CNN's Airport News as one of America's Premiere Lawyers. |
Joe K. Mitchell
Attorney Joe Mitchell was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1975. He holds a doctor of jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law and a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas A&M University at Kingsville. In addition to being licensed to practice law before Texas courts, Mr. Mitchell is also licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Mitchell is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the East Harris County Bar Association. In addition to practicing in the state of Texas, Mr. Mitchell has handled catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims in Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wyoming, Nevada, and California. His experience as a police officer, prosecutor, offshore roughneck, and pipeline equipment operator has given him both the foundation and the perspective for handling personal injury claims. Mr. Mitchell is especially proud of his family and having been an all-around rodeo cowboy. |

Philip Orth
Attorney Philip J. Orth III was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1985. He holds a doctor of jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Florida.
Mr. Orth served 12 years in the United States Marine Corps, including four years of active duty, before entering private practice. While in the Marine Corps, he spent four years in the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG), at which time he prosecuted ten cases to judgment and attained the rank of captain. He also spent several years providing legal assistance to Marines and their families in the areas of adoption, wills, probate, divorce, etc. His last year in the Marines was spent with the Physical Evaluation Board, representing the military, as well as injured Marines and sailors who were going through medical discharges; this involved extensive work in the medical field and reserves, while at the same time practicing law in a private practice in the areas of personal injury and workers' compensation law. He has since expanded his practice areas to include employment law, social security disability, and wage and hour law.
Mr. Orth is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. He has handled cases before the Texas Department of Insurance and the Department of Social Security.
Mr. Orth is admitted to practice law in Texas courts, as well as before the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Texas. |
Nathan Robinson
Attorney Nathan Robinson was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2010. He graduated from Trinity University in 1999, where he received bachelor's degrees in both psychology and communications. Mr. Robinson then enrolled in the dual J.D./M.A. degree program at Valparaiso University, where he attained his master's degree in psychology, graduating suma cum laude and simultaneously his doctor of jurisprudence.
Mr. Robinson is the recipient of the Valparaiso Juris Doctorate Scholarship. During law school, he worked as a court-appointed mediator in several local courts, as well as working at a personal injury firm. He was active in various clubs, groups, and teams, among them an active competitor in the Client Counseling Program and Secretary in the Hispanic Law Student Association. Throughout this entire time, Mr. Robinson showed his dedication to the community by working pro-bono at the legal department of the local Child and Family Services Center.
Nathan Robinson is presently a member of the Galveston Bar Association, the Galveston Young Lawyer's Association, the East Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice, and the American Psychology-Law Society. He works with the Linebaugh Law Firm as a practicing attorney, where his psychology back ground is a great asset for analyzing jury research projects and conducting mock trials. |
